Granturismo- Spare Wheel

i did exactly the same as you. searched high and low for something else that would fit but never did. An idea i never tried out was to mount a spare upright as they do in Cabrio. I was willing to take out the plastic insert if it needed for extra space. Maybe worth a measure up?
