I don't have to sell, which is a position to be and I am still really enjoying the car, but I have a boyhood dream car that in order to get the Maserati would have to go. The wife has put her foot down ;-)

It’s easier to gain forgiveness than permission @Guy ;)
It has worked so far Richard but I just bought another V8 cruiser and that may have been the last straw!!

I have now been told one has to go. She hates the SEC - 'old banger' so that is the one to go - really annoying as I have spent a fortune and replaced so much; springs, dampers, wheel bearings, every bush, discs and pads front and rear, plugs and leads, and more not including the SLShop rebuilding the gearbox and fitting a new starter motor and aircon compressor before I took delivery from them two years ago! It is getting close to a complete restoration but not much use when she doesn't want to go out or drive it.

Maybe you could get your wife to put her foot down when she's driving the car. Then she'll feel how great it is and you won't have to sell.

Ha! She has driven a few times and actually really enjoys driving it. I do believe it's the best sounding car I've ever owned, especially in sport mode and down shifting!! Amazing.

Hey all, rather than starting a new post I am resurrecting this old one. Car is on the market and planning to go to the online auctions shortly. I'm just not using it enough and need to make space in the garage for the next dream! Thought I would share the advert to the club before I did that. Any enquiries welcome, looking for a loving home :)

Cheers, Matt

Sharing the ad...

I am more than open to discussions! I really don't want to put this through the auction as it's just too lovely. I've never had a car on the market so long (had literally no interest...). Have I missed something on the advert? Any advice appreciated!

White can be a hit or miss with any car. If I was you, I would try to enhance the ‘look’. Paint calipers blue and alloys to high silver.

Still a great car though.
