Granturismo MC Stradale VIN Number

Hi everyone !

I am seeking for a bit help for my enquiry:

As I said in the thread http://www.sportsmaserati.co.uk/showthread.php/22625-MC-Victory-Seats I try to get the MC Victory seats for my 3200GT.

Well, I finally got a quote for a MC Victory bucket seat at £7630.00, excluding tax... and only for the LH seat.

However I recently realised that the Granturismo MC Stradale has the same bucket seat frame (the difference is only about covering)
So I am trying to get a quote for these seats. As the MC Stradale is not really a limited edition but still produced, I assume Maserati might sell the seats for a more reasonable price...
But I am facing a small issue: to get a quote, I need a VIN number...
Does anyone has an MC Stradale with these seats and would kindly accept to MP me the VIN number ? 0:)0:)0:)

Also, if you do not want to share your VIN number with me (that I can understand) I could sent to you a pre-filled quote inquiry and the e-mail of the sales contact.
So you would only have to tell me his answer without sharing your VIN... 0:)0:)0:)

Thank you for your help !!
See you all.

Hi azapa !
Many thanks for your reply !

I knew for the Enzo. They were also in the Gransport MC Victory and the MC12.

As I said in another thread whose the link is above, I am seeking for these seats to mount them in my 3200GT.
Actually, I find the original ones clearly too "pullman" for this car. And, first of all, I am 1m92 (6'2") which means my head is embedded in the ceiling and my driving position is not good at all. (feeling as if I drove a Motorhome, clearly to high above the steering wheel)

I truly thank you to help me !
Not really important, but just to know, what is the color of the seats of your MC Stradale ? Anyhow, you've got a wonderful white MC !
And as I said in the description above, if you don't want to share your VIN number with me, I can send to you a pre-filled quote inquiry and the e-mail address of the saler by Eurospares (you probably know this company, a well-know British parts-saler for Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini) so that you do not loose your time. :)
Of course, this is only a quote inquiry. That dos not involve you in anything. :D

You must love your 3200 - seems crazy to spend at least £10k on seats when the car won't be worth much more - it's your money

Bonkers. Buy a Strad! (And thats coming from a compulsive modifier.) You will never get them for less than 4,000 even if you are VERY lucky at a breakers Yard. And recaros would cost 4 figures and just devalue it IMO.

Why would anybody give out their vin? Maybe I'm just suspicious, identity theft and such. Another car turns up with the same vin.

Dyer3200, that's why I'm trying every single possibility  MC Victory seats cost £14k because they're one-off like. As the MC Stradale are produced in "series", I assume seats might be a bit more cost effective.

iainw: No ! haha I'm not that found of the Grantursimo. And for that price, I'd rather buy an Aston Martin DBS.

Yes and no. I'll never get them under 4,000€ it's certain... Concerning Recaro or Sparco replacement seats, the car would not be devalued as I would keep the original seats well protected in my garage. Moreover they wouldn't be used anymore until I sell the car !

You're completely right Swedish Paul. That's why I'm suggesting someone who's having an MC Stradale does the quote inquiry and gives then a feed back of the answer from Eurospares.
Here is the website of Eurospares with their contact data:
http://www.eurospares.co.uk/contact-us
One has just to send a short e-mail to orderenquiries@eurospares.co.uk.
Something like
"Dear Sir or Madam,
I am looking for new seats for my Maserati Granturismo MC Stradale. May I kindly ask you please to provide me a quote for both parts.
Here are the links of the seats descriptions on your website:
http://www.eurospares.co.uk/parts/m.../interior/front-seats-trim-panels-51284/96969..

Kind regards,

Concerning the Recaro and Sparco replacement seats. Those two might be good options with the suitable blue navy leather covering :
Recaro Sportster CS at around 1000-1500€ per seat - a carbon fiber body frame version was produced at about 3500€ per seat.

Or the Sparco SPX costing 3050€ per seat

Also here is a picture of the Sportster CS with carbon fiber structure.

So do I !
However, it is always able to find them used for a quite reasonable price and to order a new covering which matches your car interior... :)

Yes .... and hydro dip the back with carbon :)
Let me know if you find any

Sure !
I do not know if there are some real carbon fibre body frame for these seats or only hydro-dipped one....
I'll call Recaro on Monday to get some informations about the seats and also the carbon fibre version.

Hi Azapa.
As you seemed to want to help me, I thought: to simplify everything, wouldn't you rather like to send this e-mail to Eurospares to do a quote inquiry ?
Here is the website of Eurospares with their contact data:

http://www.eurospares.co.uk/parts/ma...ls-51284/96968..

My VIN number is: xxxxxxxxxx.

Kind regards,
xxx"

Then, only have to wait for their answer with the quote and tell us about the price. So, no need to give your VIN to anyone. :)

Thank you so much for the answer Azapa !
In fact, it's cheaper than MC Victory seats, but still out of budget X)
