Wouldn't mind betting he is a Dodgy Trader posing as a private seller working from home.
Many of them do it.
Keep an eye on him if not too far away or if he is in the neighborhood of one us excluding me get a forum member doing a bit of undercover on him.
Just an idea as I'm waiting for Karma on a few things for a few years now.

That's a great shout!!

No not a good idea...Im very aware of these things having taken a successful action when someone posted an aggressive post about (not against) me..... its was a candidate who was turned down by the company and decided to go on a tirade, he regretted that.

A person is guilty of an offence if he uses threatening behavior, abusive or insulting words (includes emails, forums, database storage, online resources etc)

Breaking legs and losing teeth comments may be taken as threatening.

not defending just saying

Valid points, Frank. Nevertheless, at the very least if the lovely chap who sold the car turned out to be a motor trader masquerading as a private seller, it would be right and proper for him to be obliged to comply with the duties and responsibilities of any other motor trader.

Course, he could just be a ***** with the moral backbone of a slug but presumably as he remains anonymous on this thread we can say what we like, can we? In case his name gets posted best take the thread down, pronto!

He's not a trader i'm 100% as he bought the car few years back.I wouldn't give his name or any other details as this is between me and him and i have also told him that this was my last email to him.He think's this is a cosmetic problem and doesn't need to be fixed so there's no point in wasting time with emails.I will pay for the repair myself and then small claim court or solicitor and try to recover my 'repair money' back.
