Na not just by year. Yours will be a Granturismo S, MC shift . There were 384 of those.
We're talking Granturismo Sport, MC shift, of which there were 46.
Sam, quite an intresting fact, did you pull that number looking on www.howmanyleft.co.uk? I'm interested as I have a 2011 4.7S MC Shift, I like rare cars, maybe I should have bought a 2013 lol.

Yeah the numbers came from there in this instance, but it has also been confirmed by owners emailing Maserati over the years too. Although their number vary a little every time lol.

Link for the 2013 onwards Sport MC-Shift https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/maserati_granturismo_sport_s-a peak is Q3 2016 showing 46 on the road and 0 sorn.

Still for sale and about to go through a service/inspection.

I was not too motivated to sell previously, but now could do with moving it on.

Send a private message if anyone wants to discuss price etc..

If you haven't already got for maximum exposure every where it is free. For example, here, facebook, car and classic, etc, etc

Then also put it on a ebay auction with a reserve price. Start on on Thursday at 6pm on a 10 day auction starting at 99 pence. This will roll over 2 weekends and pick up maximum watchers then end on a Sunday at 6pm

There is also the collecting cars route or etc.

I personally would not buy a car at auction unless it was a restoration project. The only difference is I absolutely and have bought many ebay auctioned cars.

The difference is with ebay you can do a final check over of the car to make sure it matches description before you hand over your money, with collecting cars or etc that is harder to do.

The purpose of the auction is to allow it get to market price through bidding. I've been buying and selling on ebay for 22 years.

Good luck

As much as I’d love an MC shift I’m looking for an Auto mainly. It certainly ticks all the boxes
If your looking to buy, drive one of each, before you make that decision. Try both in sport and manual, if you can on a test drive, which might be asking alot....foot to the floor and shift above 5000 rpm...that is where the mc shift gets it name. I only drive in sport and manual mode (mc shift)

Agree and I have to say, the MC-shift does make a reasonable fist of going full auto. I do a lot of Euro touring and mostly in auto mode.
Also, the MC’s timing is slightly different to the auto and is generally recognised to make the ‘better’ sound. You’ll notice it next to a ZF auto car.

Very good point. All of the best action happens in that zone. On a test drive you would want a very accommodating owner in the passenger seat. Personally I encourage this behaviour when friends drive my car.
Interested to know if anyone with the ZF auto box reaches above 5000rpm. Seems a bit unnatural in any normal two pedal car.

( my own car is not Gt but QP DuoSelect which operates in similar manner).

I regularly hit the rev limiter in my 4.2 ZF QP at just over 7K rpm when having fun. Unfortunately it has the nanny box so it changes up at that point and you soon run out of speed limit/road!

ps I know of one GT S owner who has never explored the limit ... (or maybe just once) you know who you are!!!

Strange as my QP S in manual would change down to prevent stalling but would bounce off the limiter when I forgot to change up
