Watch out anyone with a 32/42 aspiring to move up to a GT (like I have just done) - insurance is double that of my old 4200 ever was....
Even though I am an insurers dream (semi-retired, work from home, 3000 miles a year, Full NCB, car kept in locked garage day and night, good postcode) my old 4200 was £450 in 2011 now £900 on the GT. Went throgh all the usual quotes, A plan, A Flux etc, ended up with Locktons......Aviva and Admiral came in £100 lower but decided against an "ordinary" insurance co......
Paying £900 a year for a car that spends 99% of its time locked up in my garage...........
