Interesting review - basically the car (albeit a prototype) looks stunning and goes "like stink" but lacks driver involvement. And costs c£195k....

£195k!!!!!
For a car that if you don’t push it might go a couple of hundred miles. So that’s100miles there and back. ……to be safe. Ie Bath to Heathrow Return.

No thanks.

To put this into perspective, you could have one of these and save over £80k!!

I think Maserati have unwittingly introduced an EV intelligence test…….I don’t think many will fail.

Oh do be serious Wattie, with those red accents on the wheels?

Seriously though, you do make a valid point, but the problem is that everyone is jumping on the EV bandwagon because they have to and in supercar territory that ain't' cheap. I'm just pleased that at long last Stellantis is promoting the brand, and if they don't beat up their dealers we might even see a Maserati resurgence.

BTW, notice how the RR wheel centres are always the right way up - they are designed that way.

No one has to do anything, let alone buy into the Ev Bs.
If people don’t buy them they’ll have to rethink the “reset” strategy.

Everyone: gorgeous car

No one: nice batteries
Yeah but it looks almost the same as the old one and you can pic a decent one of them up with one of the best automotive soundtracks ever for about £165,000 less and actually drive it as a grand tourer across Europe or wherever you want to go!

Quite true, the problem is mustering consumer power; consumer mindset always seems to be "we can't" when it should be "we can".

I get what your saying, but some people just have to buy a new car for some reason, and wouldn't entertain a used one.

Remember they do a petrol one as well, for those that actually want to cross continents or have a car with a bit of soul.

The EV can just be the city commute for the rich .
