Gransport wheel alignment settings

Hi all,

I’ve just got my Gransport back from Emblem, and one of the things they corrected for me was the wheel alignment.

I know I’ve seen other threads with recommended measurements on them, but can’t currently find them. Below is a before and after for mine...

58891

I’m not sure I understand what each of the individual measurements mean, but suspect the fact that all bar one of the measurements in the initial set up was in the red may have contributed to why the handling wasn’t feeling great at high speed.

Will be very interesting to see how the car feels now - and will have to go for a drive later...

Jon, am I right in thinking from other posts of yours that Emblem worked on suspension components for you? If so the initial position will be different again from what it would have been had they measured it prior to the work being done, so potentially not as drastic as it seems from the geometry sheet.

That said if it's not been done in a while you'll benefit from it regardless. Presumably you went with Emblem's recommended improvements over standard?

Fair point. Before the alignment was done Emblem had all the wheels off the car and had stripped out and replaced the handbrake mechanism. They had also replaced the RH rear track control arm which had seized up and could not be adjusted

This could explain why my back tyres in the initial measurements are so out of wack...

Is there anywhere in or around Milton Keynes that is suggested for geo on my Gransport?
Any thoughts on SB Race Engineering in Aylesbury?

At last got my alignment done today because of horrendous tyre wear, think I can see the reason why!

Just jumping on this, I just came back from my local alignment place where they couldn't make any adjustments on the rear due to locking nuts being seized.

I presume this will be the case on most of the GS and 4200 cars.

Have you also been advised that the rods were seized etc, the place I go to did state they cannot use heat which I think would be a given on this type of job!

Always have limited options on where to go in the Northeast but will need to find an alternative place!

These are the Alignment settings that Giallo put on my car, though may be of interest.

Trying to work out where (if at all) they deviate from standard if I need to get it done again as I love the way the car drives and turns in.
