Gransport no skyhook suspension

Hi there! Does anyone know what is the model of shock absorber of the GS without skyhook suspension? I think I read somewhere in this forum they are Bilstein, in fact they are yellow, but don't know exactly which one. I have searched at Bilstein web but entering the car model is not retrieving any result, no matter the use selected. The thing is that Im not sure my suspension is working properly. I understand it must be hard but any small break of the tarmac I think something has broken, also at speed if I take any small bump it makes the absorber touch in the limit and even the bottom of the car can touch the road. I would like to find some absorber that I can fit to this model, there must be some which are sporty but still usable in b roads. Any idea?

Sky hook suspension on the GS is 'firm' if in sport mode... but not much softer in standard mode.

No idea of the non SH units... I thought it was standard.

SH was standard on all U.K. market GSs, but other markets had them without. There is a part number for both on Eurospares I believe.

To the OP - I would check you don’t have a broken spring.

Thanks for the answers! Yes, I have seen the code in Eurospares. There is one standard and then the sport that I suppose is the SH as it is about 4 times more expensive. What I would like is to find a modern one that is valid for the car. It seems the old one just allows to change the preload while some new one may allow also to set compression and extension. Unfortunately, the suppliers don't show any valid one for this model. I have requested the official dealer price for the original one but I guess they will provide much higher price than Eurospares!

I didn’t pay that much for them...£500 a corner for telescopes that work...pretty typical

4200...was Skyhook but I didn’t get on with it. So now traditional coil overs.
Yes, fitted myself.
I’ve spent more time under the **** thing than driving it so can’t say much...Maybe next year eh...!

Truth is, there isn’t a great deal of choice for our cars AFAIK

KW are well known. Their products are widely used and developed through racing...
Fully adjustable for ride height, preload, comp & rebound...Good thing too as the their set-up sheet is way stiff and the struts are not preset - so there is a fair bit of fettling to do to get them “ just so”...
My only gripe is the plastic spring seat arrangement that is set via a grub screw into the body threads..! Seems a bit naff given the cost. Everyone else uses double locking rings and usually alloy...
I think the car looks well. It’s lower than standard GS ride height. I still have spacers fitted but skimmed the fronts down to 12mm to cure a very slight arch rub. They were too wide @15mm in the first place though. So it worked out pretty good except I spent the dry months under the car instead of driving it...!

Buf, lower than GS is really low. I don't know if mine is std or some previous owner has done some adjustments but I would not like to go lower as it can be challenging for some situations, like parkings...I think first of all I will check if changing preload do something and review if all springs, silent blocks and everything is ok. Maybe this is the standard behaviour....Thanks a lot, Tim, for your advice!

I think I was wrong with the suspension, probably some time not using it in the proper road. Yesterday I went out of the city to mountain area north west of Madrid and there the car behaviour is fantastic. It is completely flat on corners just as has to be a sports car. As now I will use it just for joy and not in the city I will leave it as it is. Would like to try maybe adjusting preload and check whats the change. Anyone knows how to adjust this? Probably not as none of you are having this suspension...

Mine doesn't have skyhook either. It does have yellow dampers but I would assume them to be made by Koni (as they are traditionally suppliers to Ferrari).
