Well if you need anyone to give it a run out. It’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make. AhemNice article and very interesting confirmation of the differences Vs the GS. Glad to see a £70k valuation on the car. Mine is just having PPF applied to it and full paint correction. Unfortunately she doesn't get driven much these days since I have the Guilia Nring as my daily.
Not only that but if you look at a parts catalogue, there are many bits - from the gearbox to engine parts - that have MC Victory versions and normal versions.Yes - you’ve missed something. The difference in the seats and steering (alone) make them feel very different. The MC-V feels faster and more special, compared to a regular GS.
But a good GS at £25k is better value.
Of course the MCV is the ultimate Coupe but I guess it is one of those law of diminishing returns. Those extra little bits of betterness just cost that but more.
If your prepared to pay for it then the MCV is the ultimate and on a par with a Strad in those realms.
If course a GS is better value and much more sensible. Then a 4200 even better value again but when was a Maserati supposed to be sensible!
The seats alone on an MCV are many arms and legs. Same again as Strad carbon seats.
It might have ruined the standard car for me – the steering rack really makes that much of a difference.
"I wonder if there are any of these steering racks floating about as spares..."
My thoughts too!
