Good morning everyone,
As I mentioned in another post, I’m redoing the interior of my Maserati Gransport using a new blu metal technical fabric, just like the original.
After the body shop technician has put everything back together, I noticed that the parking sensors weren’t working—or rather, when I engage reverse gear, I can hear the usual intermittent reverse sound, but I don’t hear the beeping from the sensors when approaching an object.
I tried putting my ear close to the sensors, and I can feel them vibrating, so they are activating correctly.
Since the sensors are working and there are no system error sounds, I’m thinking that the issue might be the speaker inside the cabin, which may not have been reconnected properly when the interior was disassembled (they didn’t touch anything on the exterior, including the rear bumper).
Do you know where the speaker is located? What else could it be?
Thank you
Giovanni
