Gransport: issue with parking sensors

Good morning everyone,
As I mentioned in another post, I’m redoing the interior of my Maserati Gransport using a new blu metal technical fabric, just like the original.
After the body shop technician has put everything back together, I noticed that the parking sensors weren’t working—or rather, when I engage reverse gear, I can hear the usual intermittent reverse sound, but I don’t hear the beeping from the sensors when approaching an object.
I tried putting my ear close to the sensors, and I can feel them vibrating, so they are activating correctly.

Since the sensors are working and there are no system error sounds, I’m thinking that the issue might be the speaker inside the cabin, which may not have been reconnected properly when the interior was disassembled (they didn’t touch anything on the exterior, including the rear bumper).

Do you know where the speaker is located? What else could it be?

Thank you
Giovanni

Believe the speaker / sounder is under the rear shelf mounted on a speaker bracket, with seat back out should be visible.
The PDC module is under the right hand rear light if you need to check that.

Thanks, I found a diagram with the buzzer on Eurospares, number 18. it confirms the Place you are saying.

Is it difficult to remove the rear seat? The person who did the work is far from my home, so I’m trying to solve the problem on my own.

Thank you
Giovanni

Remove the panel behind the arm rest and then 4 bolts and if I remember rightly the back pulls out

On another note please share some photos of your interior and the process.
Interested to see the before and after as well.
My GS has the light grey tech cloth which I think suits the car, mine is in good condition but it does look slightly pink in certain light conditions so will need replaced at some point.

Sure, when I finish I’ll take the photos and post them. Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lor, I got it fixed! The parking sensor speaker was just unplugged behind the back seats, like you said.

I’ll take some pictures of the interior as soon as I can
