Rolling road session took place this morning so that I have an initial figure for comparison. Very interesting seeing a hub dyno work. I was pleased to see a reading of 359bhp at the hub/wheels which equates to 422bhp at the flywheel (based on 15% loss through the transmission/driveline). Torque works out to 368lbft. Peak power was at just under 7100rpm, peak torque was at 5700rpm.
The gain over the published standard outputs of 400bhp and 333lbft could be attributed to the Larini rear boxes fitted already.
We also did a power run with Sport mode switched off to see if the valves in the rear boxes had any effect. They open automatically at 3000rpm (I think), so it would only make a difference below that. There was absolutely no difference, the curve was almost identical.
