Grand tour pre-flight checks

OK, so not so much a grand tour as a trip to the Ardeche and back. Other than the obvious fluids, tyres, spare bulbs and haute-couture hi-viz jacket to keep le Plod Francais happy what specific GTS MC checks do you all recommend before embarking on this adventure? Last service was 10k ago and I'm on 22k now.

Any advice welcomed.

No speed camera allerts on the sat-nav
Breath kit for alcohol...not Garlic!
Brake-Down cover just in case.
Tyres, check for damage as spares over there may be hard to find with the larger wheels

Good tips, thanks. Other than checking pressure I hadn't given the tyres a second thought, so excellent advice to check for damage. As even ordering replacements in the UK can be slow that sounds like a job for as soon as this **** rain finally stops!
