Hi all, I just bought a 2018 Grancabrio which is being delivered in a few weeks.... Very exciting!!

I need to order some private plates but unsure of the sizes for front and rear. Please can anyone give me the specific dimensions I need?? My reg number is new style 7 character.

Thanks a lot

Legal ones. We only ever comply with the laws of the land.

Be prepared for the front one to fall off a lot.

Do not drive around Surrey with dodgy ones as the police are currently on their high horse and it is £100 fpn for each plate. They love advertising it on Faceybook.

I purchased mine from jdmplates.co.uk

They sell a range of number plates which are fully road legal and have the exact minimum amount of spacing required.

My front plate is 460x101, which fits perfectly between the lower diffuser and lower lip of the grille opening - no more scuffed or speed hump removed number plates

Got mine from platesforcars.co.uk. Good service and quick delivery. My front one is 407x111 and legal although I’ve only got a 6 digit reg. It’s stuck onto the bottom of the grill so no holder involved.

Please excuse the state of the car but I’d just got back from Le Mans and hadn’t washed it yet.

I have 6 digits so might go this route. Mine is small at the moment and not legal.

I went safe and drilled in a number plate holder on my front (eBay). Works great and I set it low, so as to hit it before the bumpers etc. would have preferred a small plate but I got failed on an MOT with the QPV.
