Not sure why these cars get associated with mobsters cos surely that trunk won’t fit a body. So ... what kind of suitcases and bags are you using?

Hold-all/sports bags...ones that squish up. Hard cases/suitcases are not for these cars.

Have you ever considered DHL’ing your suitcase on forwards, it’s not as stupid as it sounds.

Do this most of the time I fly - particularly within the UK. Not just more economic than the hold but probably safer too. Mostly though in & out of the airports much quicker.

My QP5 luggage set consists mainly of various ASDA, Morrison’s, Sainsburys and Tesco plastic bags.

Just done 1000 mile road trip in mine. Wife had carry on that fitted in the boot, along with some car maint bits, drone bag, odds and sods. I had soft bag on back seat under wind deflector along with day to day stuff for use while out and about.

There is a company that makes GC luggage set that looks great but is sill money. Being Ex mil, I am an OCD packer. You can get a lot in the boot if properly anal :)
