I recently used Barr Tech in Cambridge to repair my clutch pedal which was not always returning properly. This is a common problem with the manual coupes and is caused by the hydraulic fluid not being changed during services. The fluid absorbs water and can form crystals in the line.

Tino was a pleasure to deal with and the repair was done at a very reasonable price. I'm going to contact them again in the autumn to get some body work issues sorted.

Have finally booked mine in here for later this month having not used it during lockdown. Tino very helpful and charging me £650 + VAT for the service. I’ll report further after it’s done

Barr Tech had a Gransport for sale a few weeks ago which I went to see.

Unfortunately, it wasn't quite what I was after but the whole experience was excellent. Nino came across as a really good guy, knowledgeable and no hard sell. The car was a good example and very fairly priced.

It's good to hear that peoples experience of their servicing confirms my impression of them.

Had my GC serviced by Barr Tech yesterday and very pleased. £650 + VAT as quoted. As I mentioned I’d been recommended by this forum he didn’t charge additional labour to change my brake fluid and extract the remains of a sheared bolt from my front subframe ( see sep post on that). Very decent of Tino!

Had another GT in for service plus various Dancing Donkeys - Testarossa, 355, 360 and a gorgeous 246 Dino. Located 5 mins walk from Cambridge North station so easy to get home.

Good to hear, there is very little in this neck of the woods in terms of servicing options, particularly following the demise of Marshall Peterborough
