Okay my driver side cover snapped and I have seen some of the posts on this. Now removing the cover and switches was simple as it was bust. BUT fitting the new one is not as simple as the book states.
It requires the three posts to be removed and fitted into the slots so the entire unit can be fitted back into the seat.
Oh and thanks on the tip regarding the seat warming up on its own as mine does that on occasion and I could never determine why. New switch on order and I will play with the old one.
So how on earth do you remove the three posts? Is there a special tool they forget to mention or can you get to the back of the post to squeeze them so they can fit through the hole?
Have mass fun Phil

What was the tip on the heating seat?

The seat heats on its own accord due to water ingress into the cover and electrics. I have a new one on the way and just disconnected the power to the switch to save heating the seat when not required.
