Gran Turismo MC shift

Hi everyone
This is really aimed at you people with later model cars
I'm going to start looking for a replacement for my current steed and would like to know are lets say 13 plate GT all auto or are there any with the proper MC shift box still fitted?

It seems all the ones I see online now say Gran Turismo S MC Auto and they all have a gear lever instead of just the paddles.

With the GTS sales seemed to be pretty much equally split MC and auto but with the Sport sales seem to have gone more towards the auto. Obviously about the same time they started making the Stradale as a four seater which might explain it. Go for one of them instead?

There are something like 40 or so Sport MC Shifts in the UK. Around 10 of them have been for sale in the last 6mths - to be expected as they come to the end of their factory warranty period.

Graypaul Birmingham have one now (or did have recently) which is quite a nice spec. Nick Whale does/did...though the interior is...interesting.

The MC Shift is definitely the sharper version, but.....if you haven't tried the Sport Auto you should. It's a great auto box in manual/sport mode. Yes, the MC Shift has the edge, but you're likely to need to compromise on spec elsewhere and, of course, you have clutch replacement costs to add to the run costs.

It does feel that most new buyers went for the full Auto on the Sport face lift cars.....I know Dicky Grace has said the MC Auto is a great gear box and one that suits the GT really well.

I'll try and auto but do love the MC
I'll let you know how I get on.
Would love a Stradale but the second hand market just seem to hold there money so much that there not in reach for me at the moment, well not a 4 seater anyway.

I have MY 13 Sport and the Sport Auto MC shift. The dealer did a print for me and the software etc is the same that's in the MC Strad Cab Auto MC shift. HTH
