Oh and this looked imperious, whoever it was
It was I.

Just home now from 3 days there.
Great weather (just a shower in Sunday AM, which added to the racing drama). Friday was a mare to get there...2.5 hours from home and then another 2,5 hours queue to get to the circuit from the Open Air Museam... so many classics were overheating on the hill. Managed to get there at 11.30. Fortunately the hotel was closer for the next 2 days.

Always a great weekend... already booked the time off for next year

I was there today….. my first revival… it was amazing. Why have I never been before?????

Kids, work, 30 acres of “garden”,,, oh that’s why!!!

Anyway, will take whole family for the weekend next year.

I thought Jenson drove amazingly well. He admitted his start was **** as he could not hear his engine and knackered the gear change but went from 7th to 3rd before his stint was over. His lines were 100% metronomic and smooth and considering he had never driven Goodwood in anger before and nor a Cobra, amazing effort

Who let Flt Lt Noddy in? I honestly didn’t think there was a way of looking dafter on the road than one of those windscreenless supercars but whoever came up with that should be burned at the stake and then tortured by the ghost of Tommy Sopwith for all eternity
