I really like this Spyder, looks a bargain for the money, and is in lovely condition.

also what you make of this one? i am not too sure to be honest.

First one has been played around with , and more than likely been in an accident , the top front panel should be colour coded to the car , and the engine info sticker on it is all crumpled ( sign of a bad repair ) and it has a boot lip spoiler which isn't standard , may well be hiding a crease on the edge , at £400 for a spoiler greatly overpriced for what it is (stick on with 3m tape ) not many people buy them

The 2nd one just doesn't do it for me as do spiders in general too much scuttle shake for performance cars

regards loz

I noticed the sticker was all messy so i thought it had been in an accident, besides that car has been for sale for a while and they have recently knocked off 1K on the asking price.

I love the Spider but as with Loz tooo much scattle shake....Especially if you like the odd track day...better to stick with the Coupe...But I can understand why someone would want one.

Looking at the second one - 19,000 miles for a 7 year old car, sounds like a bit of a garage queen. People say these cars do better when they're actually used...

Agree Chris, they were built to be driven that stuck in the garage....Would prefer a 7 year car with 40k on the clock than 17k.

Spyders are wonderful for what they are......................a pleasant way to spend a motoring journey when its warm, sunny........and on good roads, you do have to give something back though for a true motoring experience....ie....just a compromise or two, if you know this, then you can't truly complain!!!

To true there Frank......On a summers day when you one go by with the roof down there is a little bit of envy there...

As someone says that first one has been on sale for a few months IIRC as I'm sure I saw it advertised when I bought by 4200 back in April.

Don't like the interior colour on that second one either.

But as Frank says Spider's are just the ticket for people looking for a bit of summer cruising!

Just to confirm, that sticker might not be showing bad news.

Mine's done something very similar over the years since I've owned it, it's where the glue goes soft and the sticker crumples a little bit. You'd really need a closer look to be certain. It's right over the radiator, so on a hot day, engine running, glue goes soft.

Horses for courses and all that, I wouldn't use my Spyder on a track day, I have an MX5 for play, the Maser is for 'Grand Touring', and does what it says on the tin.
