It hasn't been up for sale a year publicly, I only advertised it on here... it's only been up on sale sites since March but this is the sole inquiry I've had.

As for mot It's got 9 months no advisory.

I think I would be inclined to take it.....or be prepared to wait possibly a long time for the next potential punter. They won't be queuing up.

I'm just about to pop up for sale a nice late 2005/55 4200 with 59k miles for £14995 to kick off with and have some room to move south.

Just gives you an idea.

Of course I think these cars are worth what you are asking in the main. Trouble is the market doesn't see it that way or want these cars as much for some reason

I agree - take the offer. It’s not easy to sell an early 4200 currently, and your Plymouth location will put off some as it’s a long way from the majority of the UK.

I only had one genuine person who looked at my 4200, in the 3/4months of selling mine.

There's not many people out there in the market

Definatily take it. These are so hard to sell these says as you haven found. It could be another year before you get another offer and that will possibly be even lower. Sad state of the V8 market and big engine cars in general.

Are you going to Festival Italia @ Brands Hatch next month? If not could be a good place to go and sell. Maverick sold his there.

If I haven't sold my facelift 4200 by then I will be doing the same and sticking a couple of for sale sheets up on the car.
