Beautiful cars and a beautiful house. Where do you live? West Wales??
Thanks Dicky. Yes - Cardigan. Used child and slave labour to re-lime it. Gave my dad a double hernia.

My brake servos failed and McGrath Maserati kindly sent me some newer, better ones. Today I have spent a lovely day with Craig who has fabricated brackets to accommodate the slightly different replacements, which I’ve been assured are superior to the originals.

Sounds like a simple issue, but I refused to allow the removal of the original mounting points. Craig is used to lying under a rally car in the snow in Kielder, so his mobile welding and metal fabrication has saved a piece of Maserati history which is usually angle grinded away and mounted directly to the bulkhead.

l love my old Ghibli.87522

Took that nerve-racking post repair test drive this afternoon and am pleased to report all went well. Did notice the spare tyre had lost its pressure, so I dropped it off at our local chap for attention.

Picked the kids up from school and realised they’re too tall to fit on the back shelf like they used to last time I drove it.

Now it’s time to start planning some proper days out…

Once a year, if I’m lucky, a spare afternoon coincides with dry roads, sunshine and an absence of motor homes on the roads. Today was one such day. Not had the chance to drive the SS and the GTS back to back over the same route before. It was ace and they do share DNA, especially in the noise department.
