Is skyhook suspension a must have option?

Welcome...I would drive one with skyhook and one without as there are mixed reactions to it. It has got 100 times better over the years but see if it's for you. I know when reviewed by Harry from EVO on the internet he said it was much better than the system on Maseratis of old.

The general view is that Skyhook is essential on cars with 21" wheels, but not on those with smaller wheels. None of mine had skyhook and the ride was good on 19s and 20s

Cheers guys. I'm looking at second hand and the skyhook cars are few and far between. Which says something, I suppose.

I've driven with and without skyhook and, personally, I prefer it. Very few cars have it as you say as it was expensive. I have drive basic cars with 18" or 19" wheels without skyhook and they felt fine.

One option is to keep an eye on the auction sites as the first ones will be coming off lease about now.

Yes, 21s need Skyhook. The low speed ride and handling when cold without it is terrible. Although switching off P Zeros will help. Other wheels work with either regular or Skyhook.

I have sent you message as requested, but to answer your Bluetooth streaming question,
It is limited to just selecting next track, and no information will be displayed either. As I mentioned in my PM to you, choosing a 16my car offers you Siri, so you can use that for music selection. Otherwise I use an IPod touch plugged into the USB which gives fill functionality. My IPod is also small enough to fit into the compartment with the lid shut, so can be left in the CA plugged in out of site.
The very latest cars will no doubt offer full Bluetooth access as they use a complexly new infotainment system.

The MY17 Ghibli has CarPlay so you get the full integration. Have to pay full price though.
