Can anyone tell me how to erase the routine service light ? The car has the Jeep Cherokee engine and is current model.

That code reader worked a treat. Only option was ghibli gasoline but it has reset to the correct values. 12.5k and 365 days

I am aware from numerous posts on other forums that the OBDStar X-200 does the job. I was hoping that someone could tell me whether winding the clock back by not quite a year would serve as a reset. If the car has low mileage this trick should work ?

Sorry, from your original question you didnt make that clear.. ;)
As for the clock idea, I have seen that mentioned online, however if they state it needs an annual service I would be inclined to do an annual service.

I've seen it mentioned, I've also seen reports of people messing around with the clocks and service lights wiping out the modules.....

The OBDStar is cheap enough if you're saving on MD / Indy servicing IMHO
