Hello everyone,

does anyone have a clever source of anti roll bar bushes for Ghibli's?

The bar diameter on the Cup is 13mm and a well known, but nameless, main-dealer business has fitted 15mm ones on mine from a QP IV.

Which is great- but they waggle about in the bracket now.

Apparently they are quite difficult to find...

They are NLA.
I think that Lenny at AutoItalia in the US had some, I know that MIE do some generic sizes that might fit.
Bill McGrath are sometimes able to get the right parts too, but for a price.

I should point out that the list of parts NLA is getting longer by the day, to the point where it is starting to become problematic and work-arounds are having to be found all over the place.
There is a suggestion that the ARB bush is the same or similar to a ford transit, but I can't confirm that.

Have a look at the powerflex website they do a range of universal roll bar bushes from 12 to 22mm diameter at £14 a pair.

Looked at length in the past, there is nothing that powerflex do.

thanks for that team

As it happens, I have just heard back that PK Supercars, who have managed to source them for £150. For the four of them.

Obviously I will expand on what exactly they have found when I get the car back shortly.

That explains things. I've not really looked for those as I have the Kit Sportivo ARBs, however the rear for that is the same diameter as a 3200 item.

Do Modena-Tec actually sell anything, their prices are pure criminal. I understand supply and demand but that is taking the ***

I think they know when something is difficult to get and people will need it. Also they will negotiate offline, I've had to get things from them before and got a decent discount when pushing hard.

More and more bits are starting to go like that.

But lots of their stuff simply *isn't* difficult to get. Eurospares, or even other ebayers and MD's have availability.

I don't think that is the case for for much of the pre 2000 items and I've not really paid attention to the later stuff :)
I've found that using firms in the USA and paying shipping and import duty is sometimes cheaper than using suppliers in Europe!

The same as the 3200? Really?

Given that PK had a couple of 3200s in, and one of their guys actually owns one, I find it hard to believe they wouldn't know that.

Anyway- I had to retrieve the car aNd will have to go back to have the bushes done in a week or two, but they have said that they actually got the price wrong. They've sourced four for the rear at £75.

To be clear, I was talking about Ghibli Kit Sportivo items, not standard Ghibli ones.

Ok team,

'Here is the news'- apparently we have compatibility with (wait for it) the Nissan Pajero, for rear A/R bar bushes!

P&K Supercars managed to source 13mm bushes & brackets and I had them fitted this morning. See attached for pictures and part numbers.

If it makes you feel any better, my gearbox was fitted to the Hyundai Genesis and Kia Mohave. If it ain't broke and all that.

Sounds like a win. If you're happy with them I'll pop it on the alternatives
