Before to remove everything, I try to connect to the junction just under the aerial under the antenna

Thats an extention cable from the back of the NIT. It is male to female i think.

Connection on the back of the NIT should match the new gps antenna you have.

As far as i know Alain the UK maps are only available from Maserati for UK cars / european maps at around £400.

The USA cars were able to use a usb stick and garmin express software to update their maps.

Just had a quick look on the garmin update site and if you select Maserati from the options it says contact dealer.

Yes I did and everything work well

You need to find the map online , after you install a unlock map, you put the unlock map on a ubs/ Garmin and install on your car

You need also 2 put 2 maps because north Europe and south Europe, if you only used in UK, north Europe is good enough

Go to NAV -> Settings -> Map, press the options icon on the top left corner (the one with three lines), the press Update Map. You will be prompted to insert an USB stick, you'll get an error message and the car info will be written to the stick. Download Garmin Express ( https://www.garmin.com/en-US/software/express/ ), install it, insert the USB stick, and then follow the steps to add/register the device, and check for the update. With the update written to the stick, go back to your car, follow the same exact steps to get to the update menu, and you should have an updated map.

After updating the firmware to version 7.09 here is how to obtain map:

go to Garmin crystler page. https://auto-update.garmin.com/auto-update/site;jsessionid=E084E27D3B866779EAC2903EAF01109F

Select 2015 dodge challenger ~$180.
Purchase map, receive USB update in mail. Follow prompts to verify serial ID, and download two files (all explained in instructions). Remove USB from your computer, Go to Car. Enter dealer mode here

Select "back"
Insert your USB without navigating to any screens. New Map will automatically be detected and downloaded. Map download will take 1.5 hours so engine must remain on.

This took me 3 weeks to figure out (dealership didn't know how to update maps, even if I did want to pay the $1,100 for the map update, which I would never do.

You can usually rob them from gpsunderground if it's still going, suspect they're the same as ones for Chrysler (had to get that one in!)

I must admit, always toy'd with the idea of a free upgrade somehow, but after this thread, seems a lot of hassle and think will stick to my Tom tom

Waze has some nasty habits of taking you down silly little roads, though
