Mine is nearing 9k. Back tyres looking part worn now and probably got 2-3k in them only. I purchased tyre insurance so am now trying to work out a plausible scenario where both tyres could suffer damage at the same time... 
The re-map has improved mpg and it's now averaging around 26.5 and 34 on a run which is not bad considering the weight and that I don't try to manage consumption. I'm absolutely certain of my decision to choose petrol over diesel given my mileage etc.
Plan to shoot a video in the next couple of days of the exhaust mod that's freed up some more noise.
