Getting rid of an air bubble in the dash

I don’t usually like discussing the size of my bulge but mine had become quite an eyesore. Of course I’m referring to an air pocket that had developed on the dashboard and been there for about 4 years whilst I wondered how I was going to deal with it!

I found this instructive video on YouTube and it worked like a treat!

In my case, used a hairdryer and a hypodermic needle as shown in the pictures! The needle leaves no marks and now created some permanent small holes for air to escape from. Why have I waited so long!

Before and after pics below.

Thanks Matt! Yes exactly, the heat does seem to reactivate it, and, in theory, the three tiny holes will provide an escape route for any future build up.

I got some difficult questions when trying to buy a hypodermic syringe (for fine glue work) in my local pharmacy.

Tooth picks dipped in the touch up paint work well for stone chips. With a syringe your likely to push to much paint too quickly into the chip.
Or a piece of rolled up to a point tissue paper.
As for the paint, tin of spray paint mixed up to your colour code, spray a drop into the spray can cap.
