Something like this Draper 19152 Extending Wheel Nut Wrench https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0001K9QGI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_E710FbVDME9CG

I personally don't like the not quite 90 degree angle on these, always feels like you're force is going at the wrong angle.

I use a breaker bar:
with a short extension bar to ensure it's spaced out so as to not damage the wheel.

Is there a reason to use one with that sort of 70 degree angle on it rather than a 90 degree?

Wow that Clarke breaker bar and extension set is good value just get a set of 1/2 inch 6 point sockets to go with them.
Clarke probably do a Torque wrench too.

You don't really want to be using torque wrenches for general spannering. From memory 17mm, but really don't quote me on that.

C

22mm for the GT and I assume the QP.

And Catman is right, you want a breaker bar and a torque wrench.

As the breaker bar I posted has interchangeable sockets so should be able to be used with a 1/2” torque wrench.

I'm with you. I have a spider and a breaker that's about 3' long. Standing on it is normally enough.

OK so to complete my wheel tool set I propose the following

Wheel nut wrench as per @Zep
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0001K9QGI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_E710FbVDME9CG

22mm alloy socket
Can't find a non impact / slimline equivalent as I've read that impact ones have thicker walls so might not fit....

Torque wrench (good for 105nm which @conaero says is the required Torque)

I have the sealey version of that socket. It is a 6 side 22mm and works a treat.

All of which have arrived today! Although the torque wrench was advertisd to go to > 200Nm and has calibratrions to this effect, the manual says max of 105 Nm...
79328

but I'm wondering how strong the socket will be.... the socket metal wall (green) looks quite thin. I've checked and 22mm is indeed correct for the QP.

So that's me sorted for my Christmas break as there's sod all else to do in tier 4.

Do due diligence Loz; many Chinese manufacturers hiding behind German names. Health & Safety Exec are in the process of investigating car lifts after recent fatalities in the UK and many collapsing ramps! Life is too precious.

To be fair like a lot of manufacturing it comes out of China very few made in Europe these days Italy still makes Garage equipment if you want the right vibe to go along with your GS Loz.
In my time in NZ nearly every lift I worked under was Chinese all down to installation, maintenance and service.
In over 40 years only ever seen one car come to grief on a lift.
Back to the one post lift seen them in body shops good for repairs on the side of cars especially when we used to replace sills.

any reason why you need/want a single post mobile lift ??

Its a bit of a folly to be honest , and the extra working space wouldnt go amiss, i certainly dont intend to spend too much time underneath any particular vehicle, its hobby thing to make life easier on the warm sunny days i do intend to have a tinker, when not in use it can be moved away into the corner somewhere

if you have the space you cant beat a fixed 2 post even in a tight space and probably less obtrusive/safer than a big old mobile unit that will need a perfectly smooth level floor surface, at the price of that thing you can get a real god quality 2 post

I agree with all of that , but floor will be Porcelein tiled ................what is exciting me ( if thats the right word lol) is having complete access to one side without a post being in the way .....................its the stability of the thing which is erring me on the side of caution ............ I would have felt a lot more convinced if there was an extra few kilo's between the weight of a gransport and its lifting capacity , and no i wont exchange the masser for a micra
