Funny looking 3200

Always amazes me how you expect to sell a car when you don't even know what model it is.

It is also a very very confused car. The ad says it is a 3200 but it is a 4200 of course. It is a Classico with Classico alloys, but GS front bumper, grille, side boards and sill trims. However a Classico rear bumper. Never seen that much of a variation before!

Saw that last week, also thought it might be a steal if even the seller didn't know what it was!

A few unanswered questions will need some answers I feel first. Seems really weird they went to the trouble and cost of GS front bumper, grille, sideboards, sill scuff plates and even Gransport side badges but left the rear bumper as it was.

Unless my knackered old eyes are deceiving me that looks like a stock Classico rear bumper.

Saw a 4200 Spyder a few years ago with similar mods - classico rear & GS front bumper, GS skirts + originally silver but resprayed a non-maser green. A real mish-mash taken in part-ex with no history and, iirc, the garage wanted £25K. Needless to say it stayed on the forecourt a very long time.

And Tiptronic is a Porsche name. It also has the GS sill plates. However it looks clean, good MOT history just be aware of the sub frames. Should be a good bargain

See I like the later front bumper but prefer the earlier classic rear which was roughly what my Spyder had, never been a fan of surfboards though

Has a GS boot spoiler as well. I suspect the current seller isn't aware of the current deflated market and is looking for more than they will get.

I’d be fairly uncomfortable with the clutch situation if the seller thinks it’s effectively an autobox and has driven it accordingly...
