Still going strong then Andy. It is amazing that it's that old and never had an issues in our ownership. May long it continue. Wish I could say the same as the Nissan ..... Liz doesn't like it.

I'm the fortunate owner of one Maserati 2.24v and one Fulvia Rallye 1600 HF.
The Fulvia is a family member since 1970.

Amazingly, the car is just short of 200.000 km. It has been my grandfathers' daily driver for 17 years, until 1987 when I inherited and started taking care of her.
She's in very good shape, and pretty amazing to drive on twisty mountain roads.
Engine is perfect as it was rebuilt a few thousands km ago. Now she's undergoing other front end mechanical work, new clutch installation, and some other necessary work.
Can't wait to drive her again. Luckily I have the 2.24v so that I can avoid driving boring cars on weekends :)

Great to hear these stories. Like the colour and good to see pics. Very lovely car.
(I also own a Fulvia Rallye S from 1969)

So a few hours working on the Fulvia yesterday and today, seats and belts stripped out, Kenwood MAC-M1824BT bluetooth amp fitted in glove box and two self contained speakers fitted under the seats, seats and belts refitted and the only hint of any change is you can just see the speakers under the back of the seats. Now my phone connects via bluetooth and we have some sounds, also get a USB charging port so can stick the phone on a windscreen mount and have Sat Nav and a decent speedo should keep me out of trouble with the boys in blue.

I do like working on nice simple cars where a spanner and a screwdriver is all you need to get things done. Next weekend its service and brakes and then it will be ready for Le Mans

My brothers old 1600 HF with a couple of others yesterday.View attachment 56554

Those raised outer lights on UK cars do make the fronts look so much different, personally I prefer the euro spec ones but a Fulvia is still a lovely looking car.

Need to source some bonnet clips for mine, the alloy bonnet has too much flex for me to be totally happy at speed.

Just watched a Harry's Garage video on YouTube with his recently acquired Fulvia Zaggato 1600 HF.
A Great story too and worth the 20 minutes.
