Fuel pump(s)...?

How noisy are they meant to be...?

I ve had the trim out of the boot area to get at the shock heads - this preamble is needed as perhaps it is the lack of said trim that is making the difference but the fuel pumps appear to be making alot of noise when the engine is running. A constant buzzing.
Its hard to determine which side it is at, concluding then probably both but given there is nothing else going on at the tank really...what else would be making so much noise...? ( Ive disconnected all skyhook dampers but not the ecu at this time!)
I ve had the vapour canister out and associated pipework but its all back together as it came out. Im a little worried Ive pulled at some wiring or something..?
Cant hear them with the boot lid closed, or from the cabin....is this normal ?

cheers

To be fair, I can't hear mine when it's running, or even priming before starting .

No..that'd be "priming' presumably...? Which it seems to do when you turn the key, then stops....
Once it's running, its a constant buzzing. And frickin' loud !

I ll have to see if I can grab a sound clip...

The suspension ecu does have a slight noise.
As it is nearside rear corner it should be easy enough to determine if it this you're hearing.
