Here I have, reluctantly, for sale, my 2015 GTS.
Due to a holiday and nearly 12 months of planned work commitments away from home (where I use my van) I'll no longer get any use of it, so it seems silly for it to be left in the garage for a year.
The car has just had it's MOT and has an extended warranty until March 2020.
It had it's 4 year service this year at Autoshield in Manchester and the sub frames had an underseal treatment to prevent any rusting, it's also had 2 speed sensors replaced recently, one of which was replaced under warranty.
The car is in great condition, with the exception of 1 rear wheel which I kerbed in an underground car park, this doesn't detract from the great looks of this beautiful car, but was something I planned on getting refurbished if I was to keep it. The engine and gearbox are perfect, with the auto option for slow traffic, or manual with paddle shift, and in sport mode sound amazing with the exhaust valves open. The car wants for nothing and also has the android auto/Apple car play, with reverse camera fitted, arranged by SM website.
It's currently just hit 24k miles, it also has a private plate which I'll be removing shortly.
The options added to the car are as follows:
Front and rear parking sensors
Red brake calipers
Comfort seat pack
Aerodynamic carbon fiber pack (front and rear spoiler, door handles and wing mirrors.
20" wheels
Fabric head liner
Under door sills in dark look
Trident stitched head rests x4
Red accent stitching
TPM system
Internal grigio dark chrome trim.
Price is £48,500 ono
Happy to answer any questions and open to opinions + or - before it goes on PH and AT.
I'm based in Leeds, West Yorkshire

Have I over priced or under advertised my car? I appreciate most people on here will already be owners, but it's a question purely due to the lack of comments. I've not had the time to list the advert elsewhere as my work schedule is hectic, so I'm happy to receive any opinions, positive or negative

Luxury cars are a hard sell at the moment and your comment about everyone on here having a Maz does make sense but many are constantly upgrading.

SOR with Dicky or put it on Autotrader, it’s the best place.

I don’t sell cars but I am in the trade with wheels and accessories, mainly with Supercar garages and all bar one are extremely quiet, which means I’m busy!
Only cars that are moving are range rovers and other equivalent school buses!

Such a tough market. Richard Grace seems to be bucking the trend are still selling cars well. Must be worth giving him a call and see if he can help.....

Maybe I'm out of line but my first instinct when I saw your asking price was that it is too high. I bought a 2017 MC shift a few months ago for not a lot more from a main dealer.

We are just about to trip into 2020 which means that your car will be viewed as 5 years old (regardless of when it was registered), you are a private seller and the the mileage will be regarded as high ..... all factors that will go against you selling.

And we are coming into winter.

Oh ... and it's white ;)

That said, it's a **** of a car for less than £50k and I wish you luck with your sale.

Really? And a 15 is worth £48.5 with 22k miles?
Not sure he commented on the OP's price.

If it helps I have been looking at selling mine and trade bids (61 plate, 4.7 auto, 54k miles, one owner, FMSH) were £23.5k in both places I asked. So I guess £29k retail?

I sold my GTS MC Shift 2008 62k miles for £26.5k privately in 2018. I know what I paid for my 14 plate and like to think I stole it so just wondered if it's worth the same if not more than I paid and by looking at current cars on sale sites it seems with the mileage that low it could weel be but Dicky has sort of disproven that theory. They are never an easy sell these cars unfortunately.

Everything has taken a big haircut. I looked at an AM Vantage which was mid fifties retail at an AM dealer. I always WBAC things that interest me as they tend to bid 90% of trade and then I add a realistic dealer spread. On the Vantage WBAC was about £28k so way off! Not touching that car.

WBAC is not an indicator. I bet if you put my car in it would be £20k bid.
I actually find then really useful. Mate used to work for them and once explained how they very their discount to trade through time and brand but add 10% to what they say is a reasonable starting point.

We are busier than we have ever been at present.
I’m more referring to the garages I deal with who sell 30+ a month, most are wanting to move purely into 4x4, better margin and easier customers (in general) That being said you’re a specialist so people would be more inclined to go to you, if buying from a trader.
