Need some space for the imminent arrival of my GT40, as the build is nearing completion.

As such I've decided to sell my 2010 (60) Grancab in Nero Carbonio with Sabbia leather. 35k miles with FSH and last service 1k miles ago with Barr Tech specialists of Cambridge when brake fluid also changed. Its also been subject to a full rust treatment with Dinirol by "Rustbusters" in Spalding with certificate and guarantee subject to annual inspections, so the subframes are top notch.

I've have fitted an Autoshield X Pipe, Urutu carbon fibre intake, carbon fibre boot spoiler and metal pedal set, but have kept the original exhaust box, intake and pedals in case you want to put it back to OE spec. This is a pampered, garaged car kept in a Carcoon as part of small collection. Number plate is being retained, so will be back on the original "60" plate with a fresh MOT.

Happy to answer any questions and/or have any inspection as its outstanding. Based near Kings Lynn, Norfolk.

Just about to say good luck with the sale but clearly not needed. A well pampered car that someone has got there.

Surely this is a typo... should it not read you sold your GC for an incoming MC20 ???

:)
I'm old school. With changing technology and the move to electric, I wonder how long before modern classics with ECU's and other trickery are no longer supported with factory parts and diagnostics? I have just that problem at the moment with some bits for a 16 year old Aston, but the 60 year old DB4 has no such problems with nothing complex and just lights and wipers that are electric.

GT40 has no ABS, PAS, Airbags, ECU etc etc. Just a bloody great V8 pushing less than a tonne along. Scares the s...t out of me, but can be fixed easily and access to everything as it is all open under clamshell bodywork. The DB4 and GT40 will be able to be kept going for far longer than me!

Sure Brian. As soon as I can go and see it and sign it off I'll be given all the docs and photos before its put on a trailer and brought home. As Sandra is ECV and shielding, I don't want to go until she's had her Jab and is protected in case I bring COVID home.

Hope to god this madness ends soon so I can take it over to our place in Le Mans for the 24H and Classic. It will be right at home parked outside the hotel in La Chartre, just like Ickx in 68 & 69..................other than the drivers skill will be way below par even if the car is a toolroom copy!

Of course, makes good sense. Please give Sandra our best wishes in these difficult times.
Will look forward to seeing progress and updates on the GT40, what an awesome project, well done!
