You thinking about them then?

No, but I reckon in satin gunmetal they’d look good on your blue. It’s what BennyD has on his and they look terrific. I’m personally not a fan of gloss black wheels. My satin black ones will be going to satin gunmental when the time comes.

Sorry Adam I thought that was Dave that replied!

The Black 20's on Disco Sport I just bought the wife are not gloss and kind of satiney. Yes, I did finally find one!

I think the Satin finishes now are.really nice and much better than gloss IMHO.

I must admit the gloss black are very difficult to keep clean the problem being the rust specs from the brake discs after washing no matter what you do to dry them quickly.
I have thought of getting mine refinished in a different colour, even something wacky like a gold, blue and gold always go together!

I'd agree with that....there are.a.few.cars around now with a dark gold satin finish that looks really nice. They do work well with many colours including dark blue.

Do yours first and I'll if they look nice I might so mine

If these don’t sell (which now looks likely) i may consider refinish to bronze satin or gunmetal satin in future... Gloss finish isn’t my favourite either. I’ll certainly try em as is on the car first though. It’s tyre time, and these being different tyre sizes, time to **** or get off the pot with these wheels. I do have a real dislike of the original 4200 wheels so not a difficult decision!

I'd consider something like these but trouble is the cost to buy then refinish in satin bronze will be over 2k. You add tyres to that and I'm 3k in. I can buy a nice Mini Cooper S for that which I think I would rather do.

Fair enough. I’m looking at an early cooper s myself as it happens! Already got 2 minis but want the supercharged one
