Gentlemen. I am hoping this is this right place, as it is a current model Ghibli I am referring too.
As some members maybe aware I am planning on making the shift to EV - Genesis Electrified G80. I did run a topic a little while back for those who haven’t heard of this brand.
It seems as though by my new car will be coming by the end of the month, so I am looking to part ways with my much liked Ghibli.
Whilst it’s just the humble V6 Diesel, it is at least I believe a one of car on terms of spec and condition:-
Reg 2015 but a 2016 model year- meets Euro 6 emissions so for example ULEZ exempt.
Emozione blue with Sabbia/Nero interior with white contrast stitching.
Less than 23,000 miles with full Maserati main dealer service history (Joe Macari and HR Owen).
What sets this car apart is the specification and condition.
When I ordered the car I ticked virtually every single option box!
Full Poltrona Frau leather fully extended to include seats, dash, centre console, door cards etc
Ubano wood trim
Heated front and rear seats, with front seat ventilation
Heated Wood leather steering wheel
Bowers and Wilkins stereo upgrade
Electric glass sunroof
Sports pedals and aluminium column gear selectors
20” Urano diamond cut alloy wheels with Emozione blue brake callipers, and chrome centre caps. Side note the standard centre caps have a habit of the paint chipping off!
Fully electric front seats and steering column, with drivers side memory
Electric rear sunblind
Electrically opening and closing boot with hands free motion sensor
Wi-Fi hub, allowing connection of external devices for internet and email etc
Skyhook electronic adaptive damping
The interior has been fitted with circa £800 worth of sheepskin rugs made by the same company that supplies to Rolls Royce and Bentley
There are various other details that have been fitted to the car over the years, and I may also have forgot some options, but I think I have listed the bulk
Next I would like to move onto the condition.
The car throughout its life has been garaged and also keeps under a Maserati dust cover, when left for any period. Also to preserve battery life the car is kept on a Ctek battery tender.
As I am somewhat afflicted by OCD, only mild, this car has benefited from being kept in absolute near enough Concourse condition. To start with the cabin, things like plastic bags kept over the chrome pedals, always sitting on a plastic service dept seat cover to stop marking of the seats!!
The rear seats are have rarely if ever been sat in, all the leather is regularly treated with Swissvax products, as has the wood trim. All other parts regularly cleaned with Swissvax Interior cleaner. The afore mentioned carpet rugs are completely immaculate and look totally unused like the rest of the cabin.
Turning to the exterior, needless to say this has been preserved in as near to brand new condition as the interior, being detailed twice a year and treated with Swissvax ‘Best of show’ Carnauba wax. As you will see from the pictures this produces a second to none depth of shine! The car is only ever washed by myself using the combination of filtered water Snow foam, two bucket/grit guard, lambs wool mit and air blower drying and then drying towels. This is for me (OCD coming into play again) a five-six hour process not including any polishing or waxing, with the wheels including the drums, callipers, and wheel arch liners all cleaned using separate buckets and wash products. The sills and underneath the front and rear bumpers, even the rear exhaust boxes and pipe work receiving the same cleaning treatment!!
Whenever the car is driven on any kind of fast road, I always try to maintain (much to the annoyance of other drivers) al large gap from the car in front in order to avoid the dreaded stone chip. The odd unavoidable stone chip, even down to magnifying glass level, is touched in flatted and polished!!! Believe me to achieve a finish that I’m happy with could take days and days, and this includes any micro chipping to the sills lower doors and UNDER the front bumper apron. All the bodywork is kept as swirl and micro scratch free as possible, and the wheels are of course without blemish.
As I say mild OCD results in this level of almost crazy fastidiousness, but at the same time makes this a unique car for the next owner!
The price for this spectacular car:-
£22,500.00
Now the only problem is, I have been given a very strong bid by a dealer, and he needs to know by the weekend. So as not to lose that bid I will need anyone who is interested, to express that interest as soon as possible.
Apologies for the short notice.101431101432101433101434101436101438101439101431101432101433101434101436101438101439

If there is a diesel worth buying it is this one! Amazing specs and great condition.

@keith are you doing the touch up and polish of stone chips or do you take it to a local specialist?

Also impressive that genesis is successfully converting maserati customers.

Forgiving the lack of detail in the ad ;) this appears to be a fabulous car.

Surely the £800 of sheepskin will tempt AndyK and others into a bidding war.....

Glwts.sincerely, it deserves a goodforum home.
23000 - he’s barely run it in!
