F1 is trying to cut its 256, 551 tonne of carbon emissions but the Premier league is wiping that out...

While F1 still fly those cars and crews all around the world, why should any motorist care about how much CO2 their cars emit?

Quite disappointed in that list, I’d have a Chiron, a Huayra and a Koenigsegg if I was on £1m a month

Back in the day, late seventies, by club, Bolton Wanderers entered a sponsorship deal with a local car dealers, and they all got Lada's, except Frank Worthington, the flamboyant striker, who continued to rock up in his Maserati. No idea which model, I had no interest then, wonder if I can find out? Not from poor Frank, who has dementure...

My dad was a steward at Leicester City when I was a kid and I remember him introducing me to Mr Worthington who really stood out from the other players. He was wearing a purple velvet suit and a large Fedora hat. He made quite an impression. Never knew he had a Maserati though - that really would have completed the picture.

But that's the exact same array of cars as current footballers have?

So what's the difference? Why did he have it right, and current footballers have it wrong?

Except for the fact that he owned nightclubs, got involved in fashion, had multiple wives and eventually pee'd it all up a wall. Seems pretty similar. By comparison, I think the current lot are fairing a bit better.

Also, his son seems like a bell end.
