Luckily I don't have to start till 10 on Monday so will get some sleep. The excuses are already flying in from the other lads to do the same if not WFH!Well that was not an easy watch, I don't think I will stay up into the early hours on Monday
on the whole referring has been excellent during tournament but this guy has history, he refused to listen to VAR 3 times in Scotland - morocco game for 2 penalty claims and a last defender red card foul.........so guess he will not be holidaying either in France or Scotland in near futureFrance through but what was the referee up to, he should have stamped down on Paraguay's antics they were disgraceful.
Agreed you always get oneon the whole referring has been excellent during tournament
Agreed, they've been very good at letting the game flow...then there's a hydration break.on the whole referring has been excellent during tournament but this guy has history, he refused to listen to VAR 3 times in Scotland - morocco game for 2 penalty claims and a last defender red card foul.........so guess he will not be holidaying either in France or Scotland in near future![]()
I think the use of VAR has been better too.Agreed, they've been very good at letting the game flow...then there's a hydration break.
I'm not saying Infantino is corrupt but if Sepp Blatter, of all people writes on X that "football must never become a playground for political power". Then you know the competition is lost. The Belgian FA and UEFA have issued statements and I expect the US to withdraw Balogun at the least. However, the Trump/Infantino corruption prevails.

unfortunately I dont see that happening. clearly trumpy wumpy has leaned on "infant" so he has nowhere to go now but stick to the decision. will be interesting to see how the ref handles the USA game now since, knowing his behaviour, I cant believe trumpy wumpy will have only asked to have the red card go away...........time will tell.I'm not saying Infantino is corrupt but if Sepp Blatter, of all people writes on X that "football must never become a playground for political power".
