Not really.......you're an ordinary guy.......................he's special.......valuable...........and a guy who can wins games all on his own

P
Which proves my point. We've reached a stage where honesty and values and fair play are valueless and everything is driven by money and "win at all cost".

Given that no-one takes a stand where does this leave all sport......perhaps you can pull back the leg of the swimmer in front of u and bite that......

Suarez is special allright.....special ****** needs.....and he doesn't win games on his own...there are 10 around him who don't and have never resorted to such.

There's a lot of differences.

Suarez is one of the best people at his job and was set to be the new most expensive player in the world.

You only need to look at politicians, top bankers, some celebrities etc etc whose behaviour seems beyond socially acceptable yet nothing seems to happen.

It's annoying, but hey that's life.

Look at the England captain. Punches a DJ in the face for refusing to play a sing request. His mates get done. He gets nothing, gets off scot-free. He's still Liverpool and England captain.

When football turned into a business, it ceased to be a sport and the 'win at all cost' attitude prevalent in today's 'game' is the reason that cheating has become an art form. However, Sewerez isn't cheating his opponents, he is assaulting them and that puts him apart from his colleagues and fellow professionals. A hard tackle or a dive can be excused as being a part of the game whereas biting makes it personal and it can't be excused. Three assaults like this in the civilian world could mean jail so, personally, I think 4 months, of which the first one and a half is before the start of the domestic season, is fairly lenient.

Liverpool should fine him hugely and then sack him. The clubs reputation is far more valuable than this individual.

I aint defending him Benny...it was my idea of humour that did not go down well

Im saying that FIFA could say "those tooth marks could be from anything, night before maybe" he has disgraced us as fans and if he leaves then great......i did defend him through the racism as i still think he wasnt but biting someone a few times is not on

Not defending him for one moment.......where all this leave Liverpool....why do clubs always defend these guys to the hilt?

I blame the fans.....if they loved their clubs they would boycott games.......

Henderson. Not that he's that great, but it's easy to replace Gerrard as his performances these days are a shadow of what they were. Either his legs have gone, or he's just not fit enough.

Henderson is the best we have but no one coming through the youth that will do anything for the club

Liverpool seem to play well with Hendo and Lucas in the holding roles.

It doesn't really matter how good they are as individuals, it's what fits the team. Gerrard has all the talent in the world, but he hasn't converted that into goals, tackles and/or assists this season. In fact, he's only scored about 10 goals from open play in the last four and a half seasons.
