Have you tried WD40 rubbed onto your plastic front lense covers with a soft cloth?
Absolutely amazing!

Toothpaste is excellent as well.
Hi Andyk,
Tried the toothpaste first; but the WD40 was even better - so good the local massage parlour has now begun offering complimentary Happy Ending polish for all OAP's with plastic lenses. A lot more fun for a lot less effort!
NB. Queue Benny Hill music...

You can buy PVC polish, works well on that sort of thing as a mild cutting compound. You can buy it from Halfords when I last checked, although I bought a tube years ago. If you Google it, Meguiars and Turtle Wax sell similar.

"But I already have the WD40 in my handbag?"
...at least that's what she said as she handed me the menu.
