Fitting Stradale Side Skirts to a GT

Advice needed please...

I've managed to gather several MC Stradale parts and have fitted both bumpers etc. Which has just highlighted the need for new side skirts to my 08 GT.
Through a friend of a friend etc, I've got a pair of Stradale side skirts. See pictures next to my car.

Now heres the question, do they fit without the Stradale wing that has a vent? Has anyone done this previously?
I'm concerned that the indentation that flows to the wings vent might look odd if I fit these skirts without the Stradale wing? If that makes sense.

I've attached pictures of the front and rear bumper incase anyone was curious of what the conversion looked like.5975459755

I like the look of the rear diffuser and exhaust.. although the exhaust seems slightly super-sized...

I’m sure there’s a guy on here, possibly from the States who’s done this to his burgundy convertible, anyone remember who it was?

I think it will look odd as the flare is less tapered than the standard.

that rear end must have cost a few quid. Whole new exhaust system too?

Exhaust system will definitely split opinion, but didn't cost as much as you'd think.

200 cell cats, x pipe & straight pipes at the back. It is crazy!

To change the standard GT to a MC rear end, requires a little bit of work and new parts.
For instance, the "rear boot step" had to be replaced with the MC one to fit the exhaust coming out of the middle, which then required a slight modification of the battery housing & e brake. However, my local exhaust fabricators were really excited to do the work, so no issues.

I always feel when looking at standard stradales the pipes are to small. The hole is 6" inches in diameter so we went for 5"s after trialing a few.

I'm the guy! I did the conversion with the sport side skirts, but the Stradale skirts will not fit.

This is what they look like after being fitted. It's a very simple process, with the exception of one bolt on each side. The driver's side took about 30 minutes because I had trouble removing the bolt that's located between the door and the front wing and is accessed by opening the door. Once I figured out how to gain access to the bolt, the passenger's side took about 20 minutes to complete, which included the removal of the old non-sport skirt and the fitment of the new sport skirt.

I purchased genuine Maserati side skirts from Scuderiacarparts.com for less than 50% of what Maserati charges, and I had them painted and the carbon fiber area hydro-dipped.

Excellent, thank you for your post. How do you know the stradale skirts don't fit? Did you attempt it?

I'll get looking for the sport side skirts now! Do you have the part no?

Thanks again.

The Stradale skirts won't fit because of the area circled in red. I'm traveling for business so I don't have access to the part numbers I purchased. You can call Scuderia Car Parts and they will get the part numbers and prices for you. You will also need the metal plates with "Maserati" logo on them because you have to remove that plate to access 4 screws. They are very thin and can't be reused after you remove them. They're not expensive at all.

Getting round to ordering the correct side steps, these are the ones I want. Can anyone help whether the attached chart, combined with what I've circled are the same skirts, as Scuderia parts aren't very helpful!60135
