All these 3200's you see! Gus was the one who drove a GS and found it dull so plumped for a 3200! Top man!

Thanks guys, yes it was sold by Richard Grace about a year ago. Looking forward to getting it back and doing some nice trips :)

I've been trying to explain to friends who ask "what have you bought now, you don't need another car etc" what it is, hoping when the they see and hear it no further explanation will be required!

It's the first time I've bought a "Modern Classic" so I look forward to using it lots and keeping it in tip top shape like the previous owners.

I'm a bit sad in that I like to give my cars names and this one is Martina :)

Well, I've had the car for about 2 days now and I'm loving it!

Picked the car up from another member who could not have been better to deal with.

I did a 5.5 hour drive back, and was comfortable apart from my feet on the pedal box after a while, pedal box is cramped and at a weird angle.

I love the sense of occasion and have been impressed by how stable and planted the car feels on the motorway.

Outside of the motorway I've spent half of my time at varying degrees of yaw angle!

Exiting the M6 toll in Sport was the first time, splayed 45 degree sideways despite accelerating from roll and in a straight line.

I then took my father up the road once home, and it was cold and wet. When trying to demonstrate the on boost acceleration on the bypass you can imagine she got a bit squirrely quite a few times to say the least!

So, I absolutely love it! Sounds great as it has straight through rear pipes on an otherwise standard exhaust.

It's a very raw and rewarding car to drive!

I have been teetering round the corners a bit as I get used to it - a hot hatch was trying to goad me the other night when it was 2 degrees c and wet - I did't take the bait after 5 hours of driving, and concious that this car needs respect.

I've driven lots of on paper quicker cars, but this feels like pretty much most lairy car I have driven.

I think other road users will have no idea how hard and with how much concentration you need to drive this thing quickly.

Makes me smile :)

Excellent, they do take a bit of concentration, watch it doesn't come on boost mid roundabout. Treat it with respect and you will get on fine. Pictures? ;)

My thoughts exactly and it really is as close to a rally car for the road, a proper lairy car when on boost but a comfortable (despite what we call Alfa Ankle after 2 hours) GT when on long runs.

I drove mine for 6 months with no ABS or ASR waiting on a ECU and I can tell you in the cold of winter it was a handful if you gave it the beans, a dap of "oppo" was needed I can tell you. What I like about the 3200 is that the steering is quick enough to catch most of the oversteer even when pressing on.

Glad you got one and to get an AC is a great introduction to the brand. Next step is to get rid of the centre cat and free up some more horses :D

Interesting write up in this months Modern Classics where they talk about the handling characteristics (oh and these forums!) :D

Hi, I'm new to this forum, but desperate to find an Assetto Corsa in good condition, does anyone have any advice for me? I've no doubt it might be difficult to find one, but I'm new to Maserati (only test driven a few cars so far) so any advice gratefully received!
Love the article Contigo!

Speak to Richard Grace, he will possibly know of any that may come up for sale. A rare car.

Have a hastily shot video instead:

And while I'm at it, here is another one of my perviously owned cars that was a bit unhinged, 27psi of boost, and enough to spin all 4 in the wet, and sometimes the dry! They weigh about 1350kg, so the power goes a long way....
