The mountain in the background of pic 1 is Snowdon, it's the road heading down to Nant Gwynant. I'm lucky enough to live in the area :)

Nice one and don't worry about the miles they get better with it.
I have taken both my 4200 F1 over the 100,000 miles mark so get driving :)

I have seen one in the US with over 200k miles

Welcome to the forum. Meant in the least patronising way take it easy out there. 4200 isnt the most twitchy rwd car but still can bite when the road surface is wet or too cold. Also in Sports it dials back the traction control :)

Don't worry I'm driving like a right grandad at the moment! Managed 24mpg on the way back when I picked it up..!

Got 34mpg Leeds White Rose entry slip to Wakefield exit slip, M62, feather-footed, have pic, can't find it.....

What? In a 4200... Was it downhill?

Best I can manage is 23mpg cruising at 3000rpm... Although mine does has a very free flowing exhaust system and intake which doesnt help mpg

QPV, still a 4.2 F1 but a lot heavier than a 4200!.

Pic is here says over 5.3 miles but it was further that's just the last 'sample'. Flat motorway, 50mph on the so-called smart matrixes (matrices?). I know it's not realistic but does show what it can do when driven in Vicar's wife mode....

Apologies for the dust and the ASDA mobile, hard to find 2G sims now...

I collected my new (to me) Gransport last weekend from a fellow SM member, 103k on the clock but drives and looks like a 30k car.

As for fuel consumption on a 4200 or Gransport I don't think it's worth getting hung up on it, it's a GT car with a 4.2 V8 so it's never going to win any consumption awards, well maybe for who can get the lowest figures!
Just enjoy it and help the directors of Shell get their yearly bonus :thumb3:
