Massive win for being the Guinnea pig and doing this devonboy.

It looks very slick, and I can’t be the only ones phone that fired up Siri when you called it out lol

Quick question as I don’t have music on my phone could you attached an iPod via Bluetooth and play your music with band / song details showing ?

This is masssivky tempting

I don’t have music on my phone but use Spotify or you can stream radio. I don’t believe it works with anything other than an iPhone 6 or later and there is no mention of iPods

Ok don’t use Spotify or any other streaming services. Shame you can’t Bluetooth an iPod to it

I have to say that looks fantastic.

Technology has moved on so much and being able to that in my QPV would be great. However, my project list would look something like this.

1. Put up with wife hating me even more than when she watches me fill up with VPower.
2. Explain to the offspring why summer is cancelled.
3. Install much needed headunit upgrade.

Love it! Will definitely need to get one of those fitted at some point!

Yep. Which is why I asked them to send me the manual :)

Did you receive the Manual, Cat?
I'll try one more time, but they're not replying to my email queries.
I'm interested installing on a 2008 GT, with Mark I NIT which has no BT or USB, which I am asking them whether this would provide.

I did. PM me an email address. Not sure if it'll help answer those questions, but I suspect the answer is 'sort of'
Airplay should allow you duplicate some BT functions. I doubt there's USB though

Sorry - I am not seeing what the problem is

The lack of reversing grid is a wiring issue - there are NO instructions on how to fit - Naviplus guys have answered my query very quickly and my fitter is coming out to sort and move the microphone

Have you now got the reversing grid? And did you reposition the microphone?

Will you be posting a new landscape video? ;)

Left the grid as its a static and not dynamic grid/graphic so added nothing

Microphone has turned out fine for Hey Siri!

So all good.

Nearly 2 months in - how are you finding the system Devonboy?

Works as advertised! The only drawback is that you have to have everything running through AUX so you can’t have CarPlay Satnav and car radio which you can in modern systems. Instead, when in CarPlay radio is now via the pro-tune app that uses a little data but like Spotify sounds great. Apple Maps is better than I expected but I think the whole experience will be improved once IOS 12 comes out in sept - this will add Waze and Google Maps which are far superior

So 2 months in - no regrets - except SiRI reading work texts out when I am on a blast - #firstworldproblems!

Couldn't get a straight answer out of them whether it would work with my mk 1 NIT with a Bose thingy, save for everything going through aux, which may or may not answered the question.

If i don't get a straight answer i walk away.

I've looked at the install manual, and I think it would work. If you want a cheaper option, I suspect I'm about to be able to offer Parrot How To and installs

Just waiting on the delivery
