I think it is just what you are used to.

I park my Noble everywhere. And it has hardly any rear visibility, no parking sensors and a turning circle of a lorry.

Whilst the GT is large I find it easier to park. You just need to be selective on space sizes.

I parallel park in central London and park in the multi-storey when I shop at Wholefoods in Richmond (free parking).

Though I am super flexible and very skinny so I only need to open the door a crack!

It is all about familiarity. The more you do it the easier it will become.

Thanks again all - need to find some to view - and print off various posts from here to read and digest.

Parking wont know until I drive one-so I obviously need to try all the models mentioned- then more head in hands for my other half as I can be what he calls indecisive, I call it picking the better parking spot.

Doors have the same problem with the Spider - if both of us in the car - one has to get out before parking and then the other breath in to get out of the car - got used to this - as Bob does we look for the wider spaces.

Dicky - I will try to give you a call tomorrow.

Stewart - Thanks for your offer I am from your area so know it well - Billington Whalley - if the offer still stands would it be possible when we are back up 28th Feb - this weekend is up there via Bowkers at Osbaldeston then pick mother in law up and back down on Saturday. When we are back up 28th we will be staying overnight so more time- if so that would be great.
