First choice detailing - highly recommended

All,

Wanted to give some recognition and thanks to Jake at First Choice Detailing. I got his details via Emblem, and he has just done a correction detail and applied a ceramic protection (Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra, and EXO V4) to my Gransport.

It looks fabulous (pic below doesn’t really do it justice) and I can’t wait to wash it next weekend and see how easy it is now is to maintain...

I concur. Jake is top class. Your GS looks fabulous!

Thanks Ewan.. have you also used him on one or more of yours?

I’ve still not met him in person, but he was great to deal with over the phone and via email, and I decided if he was good enough for Emblem to recommend him, and he was an accredited Gtechniq rep, then it was worth combining a full detail with the car being at Emblem for a little while to fix the handbrake and a couple of other little bits.

I didn’t really know what to expect as I didn’t feel the car’s paintwork was in bad shape before hand. However, I’m genuinely delighted with the overall result, and would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I should also give a massive hat tip to Emblem... I’m still fairly new to using them (and I recognise there are others who have set up in the same area), but Martin and Myles have provided outstanding service which has reinforced why so many on here rave about them. Admittedly, my wallet is now a few £’000s lighter than it was, but the satisfaction and comfort of knowing the car is in tip-top shape almost makes that an irrelevance...

Yep - I’ve known Jake for a few years now and used his services many times. Top man. Did my Strad with GTechniq about 2 months ago.

Two months later.

Car was properly dirty today after a run down to Alton (Hindhead tunnel both ways!) and being parked on a muddy field... and the Crystal Serum Ultra stuff is incredible in terms of how easy it is clean. This was a double snow foam, hand wash, and quick towel dry...

That looks fantastic... it’s amazing how the ceramic coating makes them such a breeze to clean, isn’t it...

Thanks Jon. Yes it is. I was still there for 3 hours tho as it gives more time to do the nitty picky bits. Did all the rubbers and black hard surtaxes. Window seals etc n
Yours looks great as well btw. We should start the mutual GS appreciation society.

What product do you use on the rubbers, etc?

Also, do you put anything on the glass?

The gel really does well on the window surrounds. Rub it in and buff off. Was a tip from Marious so I can’t take the credit. Indeed he gave me that bottle.
