Ferrari Mondial T

Interesting, will have to add this to my watch list. The Valeo is the clutchless manual right? Presumably a precursor for the F1 boxes that appeared in the 355 a couple of years later

Yes, I believe so. Still had a gear lever , but no clutch pedal, and clutch operated by an actuator. It was originally developed for Lancia rally cars so you could left foot brake.

Love your videos. Just looking at a Mondail QV 83 In NZ for 25k (Sterling). Soooo many other cars/projects I could get for that amount of money instead. Have to really look as it's dirt cheap even by NZ standards. Let the Buyer Beware!

Thanks very much. Yes the values are really quite low. The T version can get more, but the QV was an excellent car and easier to maintain. When you see 328s go for huge sums, it does not make a lot of sense that Mondials are so cheap.
A good help in making a decision is to use the Maranello and Eurospares sites to price up parts or check availability. I am about to buy the spare wheel carrier tub at £1000, ouch but 8 are available. On the other hand some parts are just a nightmare to find. If the car is complete though, then all is good as all service bits are easy to get and it is a very easy car to work on,
Good luck!

All 4 seat Ferrari's traditionally don't hold value, though I wonder if sheer amount of them of late will change that.
The FF / GTC 4 Lusso / 612 Scag (and the even older 456 I suppose) haven't really firmed up much.
Latter Cali / Roma / Amalfi / Purosangue will be interesting to watch.

It probably doesn't help that the earlier Mondial's look a bit... off to my eye too, though the later models like your T with colour coded bits really helps them along.
I think it failed the Clarkson test too, was it a dogs dinner? Obviously, being on a Maserati forum fits in well there as the Maserati Coupe also failed that test ;)

As you say, compared to a 328 they are a relative bargain, and 308 GT4s have risen significantly too, if not the same way a GTB/S has
