If its a DIY , possibly. But if it's done by a specialist(s) then I would think unlikely.Since the original owner is dead, I doubt he cares what return he gets.

At least if you spent that on it and wanted to keep it there's the possibility it'd increase in valueIf it had been looked after and was running properly, it would be around £50k so maybe not too bad an investment. But having been abandoned in a barn for decades it’ll probably need that spending on it to bring it back up to mustard.
