Feeling brave?

Wow that's an interesting one and I wonder how it ended up not being used since it's last MOT in 2010
Doesn't look like it's storage conditions are the best though.

My old 348 had been stored in similar conditions for 11 years. Lots will need done, all the usual pipes, hoses, rusted bits n bobs. One for a DIY project, or just not viable.

With mileage that low, it’ll likely be bought, cleaned up and stuck in a collection some where I expect, so recommissioning might not be much of a concern

The amount of work it might need, I’m not sure it’s actually worth bothering with. If it wasn’t for the low owners and miles

Saw a Facebook post on this very car earlier, from the Logistics company that picked it up.

'Garage was a bit damp'
I'm out!

Certainly looks a lot better than I thought it would especially in the engine bay considering where it was garaged.

My old garage wasn’t much better.. single skinned, drafty, damp.

If that's all you have, fine.
I was the same with our first house, concrete pre-fab, but I put my car (The Stag at the time), in a 'Permabag' to keep it dry and clean especially over the winter months.
Small price if you have a valuable car, keeps insects and rodents out too.

No idea really… I find it difficult to understand why anyone would neglect a 355 like that. I understand it’s part of a deceased estate.. however, that garage, and the particulars of that car don’t add up.

I use to use a similar thing for the motorcycle I owned at my old house called a Vac-bag, worked really well. Currently my Maserati is inside a Carcoon in the garage. For £500/600 it’s well worth using a Carcoon if you have any traces of damp in the garage, obviously you need electric to run it.
