I think it's worth doing as it's mechanical damage only and not crash damage.
That's similar to what I paid 9 years ago for a MY04 and I drove mine onto my trailer.

Body and callipers look good. Methinks someone has loved this car right until now. So worth a visit to Dorking to inspect it. May prove well worth re-engining. A lovely car for a 4200 fan with a spanner.

Did see that on eBay as well.
Does look good from the photos and face lift model.
As above even when repaired it’s on the insurance register, unless you love a project rather than make a profit it can’t see the appeal.
